Alabama Governor Bob Riley has issued a proclamation dated May 30, 2003, offering a REWARD of $10,000.00 for information leading to the arrest and conviction of person(s) involved in the March 24, 2003, disappearance of:

My sister has been missing since March 24, 2003. She is a nurse and she worked her 11 to 7 night shift on the 23rd. She worked at Oakwood Nursing Home in BayMinette, Alabama. It takes her approximately 30 to 35 minutes to get to her home in Atmore, Alabama. On the 24th she arrived home and called our mother around 8:00 a.m. She then called her husband on his job after she got off the phone with mom. Her husband said they talked around 8:30 a.m. She had told both of them that she was tired and was going to bed, which was her normal routine after working the night shift. She tried to go to bed about 9:00 and get up at 2:00p.m. However, on this day she had locked her keys in her van and told her husband that he would have to pick the children up because she could not get in the van until he got home. Troy, her husband, arrived home that afternoon around 3:45 p.m. He let the kids go in first to wake her up. They found blood in her bedroom, kitchen, and living room of the house. She was not there and we have not seen her since.
The Escambia County Sheriff’s Department in Brewton, Alabama is handling the investigation. Their number is 251-809-0741.
