Destiny Television has been called by God to proclaim the message of "the Scriptures" through the medium of television. In obedience to the Great Commision, Destiny
Television seeks to provide a means to protect, preserve, and promote traditional family values, a sense of community and national patriotism, and to evangelize and edify the general public in our viewing area. As a result of being exposed to the Gospel, some will come to know Jesus Christ personally as Lord and Saviour, while all will be challenged to live a morally accepted lifestyle. Believers will be exhorted to live a biblical lifestyle, encouraged to join the local church, as well as to become equipped and challenged to help reach their world for Christ.
Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the son and of the Holy Spirit, and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. and surely I am with you always to the end of the world.

Program Philosophy
To present a well balanced and diversified program schedule that proclaims the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ and promotes community involvement in varied ways by using unique means to attract all segments of our viewing audience so as to evangelize and edify them - - - emphasizing DTV produced programming and featuring the best Christian and community oriented programs available - - - always aiming to add or replace a program with the same quality or better.

It has been part of our vision as well as our calling to one day have a local Christian television station that would be a tool to get the Gospel out to all that we can. There are many today who will never step inside the doors of the local church, but they will turn on the television. We believe that with the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the preaching of the Gospel, these people can be reached.
Our ministry has an opportunity to take the Gospel to Atmore in a way that no one has ever done before. This is being done with Christian/Community Television.
With this station, we will be able to go into every hospital and nursing home, jail and prison, individual homes, apartment complexes, schools, and every motel room in our city. Especially now that they have extended the city limits, we will now be able to reach those who may be hurting because they have lost all they had in casinos and game rooms. The harvest truly is plenteous for us at DTV.
The opportunies are unlimited as to what we can do for the kingdom. Not only through our Chrisitan programming, but through our community outreach programs as well.
We know that you are well aware of the need for true, genuine Christian television in our area. There are so many out there today that are teaching and preaching everything but the Gospel of Jesus Christ. The Gospel that changes lives is what hurting people need to hear and they need to hear it from true people who care. Now we have the opportunity within our hands to ba part of this last day harvest.
We may be small in the world's eyes and be in a small city, but very soon the power that will be coming from this station witll be reaching this nation with the saving, healing life changing power of the Holy Spirit!
Destiny Television is a cable channel on Mediacom here in Atmore, AL. There are presently about 12,000 citizens here in the Atmore area.
